Wall of Fame #3

Friday and Monday

On Friday, we wrapped up our pictures in text by taking the word Tri County (with images) and putting it into an 8x10 and adding the words "This Is" above it.
Then we took four of our TC images and put "This is Tri County" on each of them.
Today, Monday, Oct. 18, we worked on Cutting out the Background of an image.  This is referred to as COB.  We then made the COB color and the background black and white.
You will have a Photoshop turn in this week.  Pictures #3 are due next Monday!

Tuesday and Wednesday

On Tuesday, pictures #2 were due.  On Wednesday, we used our Tri County images and made TC1 and TC2 images in which we used our own photos and made each letter of Tri County a different picture and layer.

Monday, October 11

Today in class we learned how to put words and photos together in one Photoshop project.  Students first followed the assignment handout and used the word cool with one of their photos.  After the first try, students picked their own photo and their own words.

Photos #1 Wall of Fame

Congratulations to our new aspiring photographers who made the first Wall of Fame.  If you didn't make it this time, work hard to make it next time.

Photo Assignment #2

1. The Tri County Collection- Take 6 images that highlight life at Tri County. These images should be well composed and should show many different aspects of life at TCHS.

2. Take 2 Tree Images

3. Take 2 Images that show the Town/Area you live in

4. Take 2 Images that show strong side light

5. Take 2 Images that show a backlight silhouette



14 Images total


You will need to make a web album and contact sheet to get credit for your pictures. Late pictures are not accepted, so make sure that you have your memory card and pictures on Tuesday, October 12

The Tri County Collection

Part of your photo assignments for this week will be to take pictures of "Life at Tri County."  You will need to take 5 pictures that capture the entire campus of TCHS.  Write one paragraph and turn it in that explains
